I am David Appleby, owner and manager of Texas Cruise and Travel and I want to introduce you to myself and Texas Cruise and Travel.
First, let me begin by saying that I am a Baptist minister who has served in Baptist churches as pastor for more than 35 years. Since 1974 when I took my very first "jet-cruise" on the Greek ship Orpheus I have had the opportunity to travel to many parts of the world.
As a result of all these travels I have developed a love for seeing and experiencing as much of God’s wonderful world as I can.
It is that desire to see as much of the world as I possibly can that led me to form Texas Cruise and Travel (TC&T). Sure I’d like to make a little money along the way, but my real goal is to open the door to myself and others to experience a wider world in an enjoyable context and at an affordable cost.
Texas Cruise and Travel is a travel agency that specializes cruises. We provide consulting and custom travel arrangements and packages. TC&T's mission is to become the foremost provider of cruise travel to the people of Texas and surrounding states. TC&T's owner and employees are cruise and travel enthusiasts, as well as seasoned travel professionals. TC&T seeks to connect travel newcomers and veterans with service providers, and accommodations that fit their desires, and budget.
While we are happy to help with all your travel needs by offering a variety of travel options (and we do), I have chosen to focus on cruises because:
Cruising is affordable. I believe cruises offer the most "bang" for ones travel dollar. I do not know any other form of travel where you can get as much for your vacation dollar, and
Cruising is virtually hassel free. In virtually every other form of travel you must continually pack and unpack; make your way through airports and endless hours of security checks; and any number of other things that take the joy and excitement out of your trip.
Cruises usually mean, Pack and unpack, only once; security check, only once; meals always on time and any time you want them, your choice; sleep as you travel from destination to destination; and a whole host of other fun, activities.
